[Spotlight] SC Invest powers Standard Chartered’s next chapter in digital wealth

Standard Chartered has introduced SC Invest, a seamless end-to-end digital funds experience on the SC Mobile banking app. This platform is designed to help the bank’s clients discover investment opportunities, build portfolios with confidence and stay connected to their financial goals through a more intuitive wealth journey.

SC Invest reflects a highly collaborative initiative for Standard Chartered, led by its Digital Funds team in partnership with teams across wealth, digital and client experience. It demonstrates the bank’s continuous focus on democratising wealth management – making it more accessible, relevant and engaging for today’s digitally connected investor.

Since 2024, the journey has been marked by several key milestones:

  • Launched SC Invest in Singapore and Hong Kong, extending a digitally-enabled mutual fund proposition to clients through SC Mobile and broadening their access to needs-based portfolio investing.
  • Enhanced digital mutual fund distribution through a unified platform that allows clients to explore investment options, invest with ease and monitor performance within a single integrated experience.

SC Invest offers the bank’s clients in Singapore and Hong Kong the access to curated portfolios tailored to different risk appetites and investment needs, from income generation to long-term growth. The portfolios are constructed using insights from Standard Chartered’s Chief Investment Office, alongside expertise from its discretionary portfolio management teams.

SC Invest has seen encouraging subscription momentum since launch, including strong participation from investors who are new to mutual funds, underscoring growing client interest in a more seamless digital investing experience.
