The conference this year has witnessed the highest-ever investor participation with over 1000 investors from around the world registered to attend, reinforcing the steady interest that China, its economy, and its growth prospects continue to draw from investors across the world. Citi is hosting over 300 corporate clients, who will get a platform to meet with the attending investors who are also clients of Citi’s markets and corporate banking division.
Citi CEO Jane Fraser, who is currently in Hong Kong attending the Hong Kong Monetary Authority’s (HKMA) Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit, delivered the opening address for the Macau leg of sessions. The sessions and discussions include deep dives and presentations on China’s economic outlook and prospects, the roadmap to growth, and opportunities across a number of sectors including private hospitals, solar energy, semiconductor and battery supply chain, among others.
Charles Lam, Citi’s Hong Kong Head of Markets said, “There is robust interest in China from our institutional and corporate client franchise globally, as Chinese GDP growth remains strong and prospects for the future look encouraging.”
