SINGAPORE – Today, Citi appointed Gunjan Kalra as Asia Pacific Head of Citi Commercial Bank (CCB). Gunjan will be assuming her role on September 1, 2023, and will report to the Global Head of CCB, Tasnim Ghiawadwala and Citi Asia Pacific Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Peter Babej.
Based in Singapore, Gunjan joins the commercial bank from Citi’s Markets business where she was most recently the Asia Pacific Head of Corporate Sales & Solutions. Assuming the role since 2021, she has led a team of 150 salespeople across the region to deliver Markets products to corporate and commercial banking clients in Asia Pacific. Gunjan also served as Asia Pacific Head for the Corporate Solutions Group from 2015 to 2021.
In her over two decades at Citi, Gunjan has accumulated extensive experience and a deep understanding of our Markets franchise, including working with CCB clients. She has held leadership roles across Asia Pacific and Latin America and managed complex businesses across various asset classes and client segments.
