The Bank of Singapore (BoS) has announced the appointment of Claude Andre Harbonn as its head of investment advisory, a newly-created role that he will assume on 5 January 2026.
Based in Singapore, Harbonn will oversee the bank’s global investment advisory teams and define the strategic direction of the function. He will report directly to the heads of private banking in Singapore, Hong Kong and Dubai—BoS’s three principal hubs. Investment advisors across these centres will report to Harbonn, alongside their existing local reporting lines.
Harbonn brings more than 20 years of experience in private banking and wealth management. Most recently, he served as co-head of the Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) Solutions Group at UBS’s wealth management division, where he managed teams across Switzerland, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Prior to his tenure at UBS, Harbonn held senior leadership positions at Credit Suisse, including serving as market group head for Indonesia and Malaysia.
BoS’s creation of this role underscores its commitment to strengthening investment advisory capabilities across its international network, with Harbonn’s appointment marking a significant step in advancing its global strategy.
